Franklin Square Throws Snowballs At Old Man Winter

Sure there are predicted lows in the single digits for the next couple days but what a better way to get over cabin fever than a round of mini golf? The family fun park adjacent to the Constitution Center, Franklin Square features a colorful carousel, fountains, even a Stephen Starr outpost serving up burgers, dogs and shakes (which doesn’t open til 3/22). So grab the kids, get outside, and blow the stink off, spring is coming.

Love Park Deal Sealed For Real!!!

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Mayor Micheal Nutter and City Council President Darrell Clarke came to an agreement over the future of JFK Plaza (aka Love Park), making way for food vendors and long overdue renovations for the Center City park which is home to the iconic Robert Indiana sculpture from which it’s nickname is derived. Viaduct Rail Park in Philadelphia!

philly_reading_line_06The Reading Viaduct is coming. After some awkward growing pains, there has been a marriage of sorts between the various organizations creating the Friends of the Rail Park. This is an incredibly ambitious development that will change the “landscape” of Philadelphia in a meaningful way. See the link and learn more: Viaduct Rail Park

Condo Market in Philadelphia!

Phila condo I have made the mistake of comparing Philadelphia to Brooklyn and/or Manhattan in the past. That is not the way to think about this. Philly isn’t Brooklyn. It is very different. It should be. NYC is one of the finest cities in the world. We just happen to be the next door neighbor.  That being said, you can buy a condo in Philadelphia in one of our finest neighborhoods for 40-60% less than what you might find in Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, Fort Greene, Murray Hill or Columbia Heights (not to mention the West Village, Tribeca or Chelsea!). If what you do doesn’t have to be 24/7 right in the BK…give us a look! Philly knows whats up! We have all styles from uber loft condo in Northern Liberties to mega swank at the top some of Philly’s tallest buildings! From the low 300’s to as much as you want to spend!
